Working in this field is more than just helping moms in labor. it is the relationships we build as a community the relationships we build with our birthing mothers, and the lives we are able to impact through the event of birth. We are more than mere cheerleaders - we are advocates for all who we serve. Our births are not to be looked at as an inconvenience but as an honor to attend. Being a part of birth is a huge responsibility that should never be taken lightly.
